OUR MISSION

To serve as a collective body to support, develop, and represent the hearing healthcare profession for the advancement of the practice and to better serve the consumer. To foster and encourage the development of closer relationships among healthcare providers, rehabilitation groups, education groups, advocacy groups and others working for the benefit of the aurally handicapped.

Communications

PHHA sponsors the Hearing Registration Exam Review, providing important information prior to taking the OA state hearing exam. If you are registered to take the next PA Hearing Registration Exam and would like to attend this exam review class, please visit the "contact us" tab and notify us. 

PHHA also provides, to hearing healthcare professionals, guidance on issues affecting our industry. PHHA offers assistance and help with questions regarding your practice. 

Advocacy

PHHA works on the behalf of hearing healthcare professionals to interact with government leaders, working to protect your future and provide support for federal action hearing aid tax credit legislation.

Consumers

PHHA has partnered with the Medical Bureau of Pittsburgh allowing hearing healthcare providers in Pennsylvania to offer unique patient benefits to make hearing aid purchases more affordable. 

Education

As laws and guidelines change, PHHA provides the tools necessary to incorporate these changes into your practice. PHHA coordinates with state officials to provide current information on changes in law that may affect your business. 

Practice

Active participation with other professional organizations to help protect your business' future. PHHA offers continuing education (CEUs), networking and leadership opportunities.
